Isn’t funny that until recently the often spoken headlines of the media concerning Michael Jackson was “Wacko Jacko”. And, until recently the press made MJ to be some sort of freak. Yes he was very eccentric but I believe that he spoke his truth and acted in the only way he knew how with compassion and unconditional love. Nobody concerning the general public knows for sure what went on behind the scenes of MJ’s life. There has been much speculation but has anyone really listened to him speak out loud…speak his truth.

Michael Jackson has impacted millions of people around the planet including myself and the music he made was ingenious. In fact he could probably be compared to as a Mozart in this generation. Having been such a fascinating creator of music and entertainment it is natural for people and fans to inquire about and understand his way of life. We want to know what made him a success. But super success can sometimes have some drawbacks and downsides which one may not even be aware of.

Most of us know how and why Michael Jackson became such a huge success but I believe a lot of us don’t know why or understand MJ’s personal challenges that came with success. In fact, because of MJ’s huge and quick rise to success, he made millions of dollars very quickly at a very young age. I believe this affected him in a way that would change his life forever. I believe MJ didn’t want to have any challenges or obstacles in his life. He had money, fame and power which he used to make any challenges or obstacles in his life go away. He didn’t like the way he looked – he paid doctors to change his physical appearance, he was accused of child molestation – he paid off the accusers, he couldn’t sleep at night – he paid doctors to drug him so he would fall asleep. Whatever it was, he found a quick and easy solution to get rid of the problem.

The fact that remains is that everyone that goes through life, no matter how successful they are will experience some form of challenges and obstacles in their life. And… everyone needs to go through the process of experiencing and dealing with these challenges in order to heal themselves. So quick fixes will not always work.

This last interview with Oprah and Michael Jackson may give you a little insight to his true personality and what he was like as a human being… I hope you enjoy. There are actually 8 parts to the interview but I am only displaying part 3 of 8 which I find the most interesting. You can watch the rest on youtube.

The the Michael Jackson Memorial will start at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 7th, at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
